UTTC has implemented Microsoft SharePoint Server as a part of their Green Campus Initiative. The system is dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of the University. Through our efforts, we promote sustainable practices that include energy efficiency, waste reduction, and improved recycling.

We consider ourselves to be quiet activists, working closely with staff, faculty, and administration officials to achieve our goals.​​​

Vehicle Maintenance - Washpros LLC

Washpros LLC is hiring part time employees in the Bismarck area to help wash delivery vehicles at FedEx in Bismarck, ND. You must by 18 years old, responsible and dependable. You will go through a background check to be issued a FedEx badge to be on their property.

You will be washing FedEx vans inside their warehouse. This is an ongoing job throughout the year. After the winter, if you are looking for more hours, there will be full time hours available in pressure washing other accounts as well. The job entails running a pressure washer, brushing the vans and making sure the vehicles are clean and looking professional.

The job is Monday and Thursday nights from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. These days and times may be adjusted slightly if needed to fit your class or work schedule. Starting pay is $16/hr.

Job Announcement- Basic Electric Power Cooperative

Position Title: Service Dispatcher (Part Time)

Department/Location: Resource Planning; Bismarck, ND
Company: Basin Electric Power Cooperative
Position Purpose:
This position dispatches after hours work crews, equipment, or service vehicles in response to consumer requests concerning power
outages, member service issues, and dispatching and handling line crews; and provides telephone coverage during business and
non-business hours for Basin Electric Power Cooperative (BEPC) and its member systems located across nine states. This position
monitors headquarters security equipment including cameras, security and medical alarms, and alarms for headquarters and its
properties.
Qualifications:
To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have strong customer service, verbal and written communication, and
interpersonal skills; and the ability to assist callers in a professional manner at a level acquired through the completion of a high
school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSED) and two years of office and/or customer service experience. This position works 12-hour
shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and days on a rotating basis, and on an on-call scheduled basis. Overtime may be required, as
needed. Experience with personal computers in a Windows environment and with Microsoft Word and Outlook is required. The
incumbent must possess or be capable of obtaining a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Service Dispatcher (Part Time)
Typical Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands:
This position requires frequent sitting and standing/walking; and occasional reaching below and above shoulder level, use of
keyboard/computer, bending, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds. It also requires finger
dexterity and hand coordination. This position requires good hearing and vision, and the ability to speak. It also requires the ability to
develop plans, procedures and goals; present information to others; and work under stress to complete projects within deadlines. The
incumbent must be able to hear alarms and have good color vision to observe color weather radar and color indicators on security
systems. The incumbent must be able to quickly make decisions, follow procedures, relay vital information, and coordinate resources.
In stressful situations, the incumbent must be able to perform extensive work with very little outside contact at a control console.

HIPPA/FERPA CFR 42 Training

Greetings,

On August 10th, there will be training from 1-4 pm in the Wellness Center conference room! This training is open to all staff and faculty at United Tribes Technical College. From 1-2 pm the content consists of 960 training on how to report children and elder abuse and from 2-4 pm is HIPPA/FERPA CFR 42 as it relates to Behavioral Health Records.
